Your Future Starts Here

The Academic & College Counseling Department is an integral part of the educational program at Lutheran High School South. Our counseling professionals nurture students in their spiritual, academic, emotional and social development. Counselors use a proactive, developmental approach to assist students in making wise decisions personally, academically and vocationally. They assist students in choosing a balanced program of studies, in understanding themselves, and in selecting the courses required for college admission or other vocational choices.
I'm so glad that South prepared me for the collegiate environment. I came into Truman State with almost two full semesters of completed coursework thanks to my 1818 courses and AP test results. Truman was very gracious to transfer and accept all 27 of those credits which put me ahead of my class for registration and graduation.
