Curriculum

Take the Challenge. Be Prepared.

Lutheran South offers a college preparatory curriculum for all of its students with the goal of preparing each student for continuing study at the college level. To achieve this goal, students are required and/or encouraged to take a solid core curriculum of English, mathematics, science, social science and foreign language courses in addition to theology, practical arts, fine arts, physical education and health.

Lutheran South offers Advanced Placement (AP) and 1818 Advanced College Credit (ACC) courses with St. Louis University, allowing its students to earn college credit while still in high school. We also offer an accelerated math program for qualifying freshmen and an honors section of English I and English II.
My favorite thing about teaching is watching a student go from feeling really unsure about something and then taking them through the whole process where they can achieve and feel successful.
