    • It's A Great Day to Be a Lancer

It's About Who You Become.

Welcome to Lutheran High School South, home of the Lancers! Lutheran South is a co-educational, private, Christian school serving more than 420 students in grades 9 through 12 who live in St. Louis City, St. Louis County and the surrounding areas.

At LHSS, we blend a strong college prep curriculum with opportunities for co-curricular, service and athletic activities to help you mature and grow as a young Christian. We’re large enough to provide many different opportunities for you to explore, yet small enough for you to find your niche. Together with your church and family, we help you grow in your faith, develop your strengths and meet the challenge of new opportunities.

GRADUATE PREPARED. You want to go to college. You have goals and dreams. Maybe you’re not quite sure what those goals and dreams are yet — that’s OK. At Lutheran South, we take an active role in helping you figure it out. We pray with you and for you. We encourage you to be your best by taking the tough courses, working through personal hurts and triumphs, and setting goals for yourself and then meeting them. Not every student can be a valedictorian or star athlete, but all students can use their gifts and talents to give glory to God, and give witness to their faith. In short, each person can change the world for Christ.
• Our students build friendships that last a lifetime.
• Each year, our graduates return to tell us how well they were prepared for college.
• Our graduates become leaders in their communities, their churches and their homes.
Lutheran High School South does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, or religion, but as a Lutheran Christian school, upholds its Statement of Faith in considering applicants for admission.
The hallway chatter isn’t "Are you going to college?"
It’s "Where are you going to college?"

Meet Natalie Robinson

"I chose Lutheran South because I knew it would be a great way to give myself the push I needed in all aspects of my life, including academics, athletics and strengthening my faith."
